On the weekend of July 20, 2019, a tragic incident unfolded in North St. Louis County involving the death of 14-year-old Ien Coleman. The young male, who resided in the 2100 block of Chippewa in South St. Louis, was visiting the Riverview Park Place apartments located in the 10000 block of Toelle Lane.
