In the early hours of an autumn morning in Saint-Louis, Missouri, the life of 37-year-old Carlos Morris was tragically cut short. On October 4, 2017, police responded to a report of shots fired at a home in the Spanish Lake neighborhood. Inside, they found Morris, who had sustained at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
