On June 3, 2017, 17-year-old Jalen Woods was tragically killed in a quadruple shooting in North St. Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred just after 1 a.m. near Union and Paulian, where Woods and 25-year-old Amber Green were inside a car at a gas station when two masked men drove up and opened fire. Both Woods and Green were pronounced dead at the scene, while two other individuals nearby suffered multiple gunshot wounds and were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
