On the afternoon of December 1, 2021, authorities in St. Louis County, Missouri, launched a homicide investigation following a violent incident in the city of Jennings. At approximately 3:57 p.m., police officers responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 2700 block of Solway Avenue. Upon their arrival at the scene, first responders discovered an 18-year-old male, identified as Jaivyon Hudson, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.
Emergency personnel attended to
the victim, who was found in the front seat of the car. Despite their presence, Hudson was pronounced deceased at the scene due to the severity of his injuries. The teenager, a resident of the 3100 block of Kemp Drive in St. Louis, became the focus of an inquiry by the St. Louis County Police Department’s Crimes Against Persons Detectives.
