On May 23, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 36-year-old Derek Conway was fatally shot in a residence on the 4700 block of Goethe Avenue in St. Louis, Missouri. Responding officers found Conway unconscious with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest; he was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
