On December 15, 2024, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers from the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department responded to a call reporting a shooting in the 4900 block of St. Louis Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Kyle Fitzgerald, a resident of House Springs, Missouri, with gunshot wounds to the chest. Emergency Medical Services transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
