In the autumn of 2025, a dispute at a car show in Tucson's Reid Park tragically cut short the life of 35-year-old Ruth Simpson. On the evening of November 2nd, an altercation erupted between two groups gathered for the event, escalating into gunfire that echoed through the park. Simpson was one of three people struck by the hail of bullets.
