Methaj Hatten, a 21-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was found dead on December 1, 2019, in an apartment located in the 2600 block of East 29th Street. The Kansas City Police Department responded to a reported shooting at approximately 8:15 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Hatten's body inside the apartment.
