On March 12, 2023, 24-year-old Darryl Brown was fatally shot at a residence in the 8300 block of Highland Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri. Police responded to reports of gunfire around 8:15 p.m. and found Brown unresponsive near the front door. Despite immediate medical attention, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
