In the autumn of 2022, a Kansas City, Missouri, community was shaken by the violent death of 36-year-old David Thomas. On the night of Sunday, October 23rd, police were called to the Ridgeview Heights Apartments located in the 3200 block of Quincy Drive on the east side of the city. There, they discovered David Thomas, a male, suffering from gunshot wounds and unresponsive.
