In the early morning hours of May 2, 2020, violence shattered the peace in the 2300 block of Van Brunt Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, claiming the life of 24-year-old Terence Rodgers. Officers from the Kansas City Police Department were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Rodgers outside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but tragically, his injuries proved fatal.
