Abdi D. Sanweyne, a 27-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on December 24, 2017. The incident occurred on Christmas Eve when police were called to the 300 block of Garfield Avenue around 6 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Sanweyne in a second-floor hallway with a gunshot wound. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries a few hours later.
