On Christmas Eve of 2017, a tragic shooting in Kansas City, Missouri, claimed the life of 27-year-old Abdi Sanweyne. The incident occurred in the early evening, shortly after 6 p.m., on the 300 block of Garfield Avenue. Sanweyne was discovered on a staircase within a residence, having sustained a gunshot wound.
