On the afternoon of Friday, April 5, 2024, a violent incident occurred in Kansas City, Missouri, resulting in the death of a 39-year-old male named Christopher J. Ball. Law enforcement officers were dispatched to the 5600 block of East 31st Street around 1:00 p.m. after receiving calls regarding the sound of gunfire in the area.
