On April 5, 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m., Kansas City, Missouri, police responded to reports of gunshots near East 31st Street and Oakley Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered 39-year-old Christopher J. Ball inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
