In the summer of 2000, a young man's life was tragically cut short in Chesapeake, Virginia. On the night of July 23rd, 19-year-old Stephon Walton found himself at a local nightclub called City Lights, located at Bainbridge Boulevard and Portlock Road. It was there that the violence that would ultimately end his life is believed to have occurred. Suffering from a gunshot wound, Walton was brought to a local hospital by a group of individuals he was with that evening.
