In the early hours of his 31st birthday, Raymond Mykel Douglas's life was tragically cut short. On November 9, 2020, the Kansas City, Missouri man was fatally shot at the Rendezvous Lounge, a nightclub on Blue Ridge Boulevard in the southern part of the city. The incident, which marked the city's 160th homicide of the year, unfolded just before 3 a.m., leaving a family and community in mourning.
