On August 21, 2011, Anthony D. Edwards, a 22-year-old African-American male, was fatally shot in Indianapolis, Indiana. The incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. outside an apartment complex in the 5800 block of East 21st Street. According to reports, Edwards was shot multiple times following an altercation. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. The case remains unsolved, with no arrests made or suspects publicly identified.
