In the summer of 2011, a young man's life was cut short in Indianapolis. Anthony D. Edwards, a 22-year-old African-American male, was fatally shot on the evening of August 21, 2011. The incident took place around 8:00 p.m. outside an apartment complex located in the 5800 block of East 21st Street.
