On the morning of Saturday, July 11, 2020, Landon was on the east side of Indianapolis in the 2400 block of North Sheridan Avenue when gunfire erupted. He was with 16-year-old Brayden Shiflet and another individual. In the wake of the shooting, both Landon and Brayden were found deceased, their lives extinguished far too soon.
