On the morning of March 7, 2021, Stephen M. Ratti, a 64-year-old resident of Joplin, Missouri, was found deceased in the backyard of his home located at 812 S. Vermont Ave. The Joplin Police Department responded to the scene and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
