On August 21, 2021, 15-year-old Demario Gentry was tragically shot and killed in front of his home in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred in the 3500 block of Agnes Avenue, just before 8 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene, they found Demario on the front porch of his home, where he was pronounced dead. This incident marked the 99th homicide in Kansas City for the year 2021.
