On October 17, 2021, Devan Greer, a 32-year-old African American male, was fatally shot in the Carondelet neighborhood of Saint Louis, Missouri. The incident occurred at a bus stop located near the intersection of South Grand Boulevard and Bates Street. Police officers responded to the scene after reports of gunfire and discovered Greer suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite emergency response efforts, he succumbed to his injuries.
