In the quiet Mark Twain neighborhood of St. Louis, Missouri, the life of 46-year-old Andar Smith, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short on the evening of December 28, 2021. As he was attempting to enter his own home on the 4900 block of Claxton Avenue, he was gunned down. Smith succumbed to his injuries on his own porch, a place that should have been his sanctuary.
