In the winter of 2022, the community of Saint Joseph, Missouri, was shaken by the violent death of a beloved family man. Victor Mel Hicks, a 64-year-old male, was killed by gunfire on January 12th of that year. His death left a void in the lives of his extensive family and all who knew him.
