In the summer of 2016, a tragic event unfolded in Saint Joseph, Missouri, forever altering the lives of two families. On July 17th, 22-year-old Kevin Villegas Melendez and his companion, 25-year-old Raymond Gonzalez-Ortiz, were brutally killed in what law enforcement described as an execution-style shooting.
