On March 25, 2018, the life of 24-year-old African American male Lorenzo Le'Mont Lucas came to a tragic end in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Police officers responded to a scene in the 2700 block of Lafayette Street, where they discovered Lucas unresponsive inside a parked minivan. Upon further investigation, it was determined that he had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
