Mack D. Jenkins, a 29-year-old resident of Saint Joseph, Missouri, tragically lost his life on August 6, 2018. The incident occurred when Jenkins and another individual, Deon Hernandez, were shot while inside a vehicle that had crashed just north of downtown Saint Joseph. Witnesses reported seeing Jessie Lee Nelson fire shots into the vehicle before fleeing the scene. Jenkins succumbed to his injuries, while Hernandez was seriously wounded and left paralyzed.
