Bradley Thomas Arn, a 28-year-old patrolman with the St. Joseph Police Department, tragically lost his life on November 10, 1998, in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Officer Arn responded to a call about a man with a rifle shooting at people in the area of 22nd and Calhoun streets. Upon arriving at the scene, Officer Arn was the first to confront the gunman, who was armed with an assault rifle, a shotgun, and a revolver.
