In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 27, 2007, a tragic discovery was made in the Northeast quadrant of Washington, D.C. The body of a male, identified as Leonel Urbina-Lopez, was found alongside the 1100 block of 50th Place, NE, near Houston Elementary School. An investigation by the Metropolitan Police Department determined that Urbina-Lopez had been shot sometime between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. that same day. His body was discovered at approximately 7 a.m.
