In the light of a late Tuesday morning, the life of 52-year-old Danny E. Scott was tragically cut short in an act of violence. On March 29, 2022, in the Sheffield neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri, Scott was found suffering from gunshot wounds on a sidewalk near the intersection of Wheeling Avenue and East 8th Street. The Kansas City Police Department responded to a call about a shooting at approximately 11:45 a.m. and discovered Scott unresponsive.
