On the night of March 30, 2022, violence erupted in a quiet residential neighborhood in unincorporated St. Louis County, near Florissant, Missouri. At approximately 11:30 p.m., police officers from the North County Precinct responded to frantic calls reporting gunfire on the 4800 block of Cloverfield Trails Court. Upon their arrival at the scene, first responders discovered a 31-year-old male, Darius Lamont Monda, suffering from a severe gunshot wound outside his home.
