In the warm coastal community of Honolulu, Hawaii, a sense of concern grew for 70-year-old Kenneth Yoshida. In January of 2020, friends and family lost contact with him, marking the beginning of a prolonged and painful period of uncertainty. At the time of his disappearance, Mr. Yoshida was described as a man of Asian or Pacific Islander descent, standing at five feet nine inches tall and weighing around 120 pounds, with graying hair.
