On June 20, 2024, 45-year-old Jeffrey Hoffere was last seen around 6 a.m. near the Country Hills Townhomes & Apartments complex on East Henrietta Road in Henrietta, New York. At that time, he was reportedly "highly intoxicated" and known to take his hammock into the nearby woods to "sleep it off."
Hoffere's family reported him missing on July 7, 2024. Authorities described him as standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 190 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
