John Jay Ashley Jr., 18, disappeared from Wilmington, Delaware, on December 14, 1971. He was last seen walking home after attending basketball practice at his high school. That same night, another teenage boy from Wilmington also vanished but was found drowned in February 1972. While some have speculated a connection between the two cases, no evidence has confirmed this link.
