Danny Lopez, a 16-year-old male Latino, was fatally shot in North Hollywood on the night of Saturday, October 11, 2025. County medical examiner records list his manner of death as homicide and his cause of death as multiple gunshot wounds to the torso; he was formally pronounced dead at a hospital not long after the attack.
The shooting unfolded just after 9 p.m. near Vineland Avenue and Chandler Boulevard, a short walk from East Valley High School.
