A friend dropped him off outside his home in the 400 block of East 10th Street between 2:00 and 4:00 a.m. He was wearing a gray Nautica sweatsuit, a black leather jacket, Nike sneakers, and a ring on his left pinky finger at the time of his disappearance.
Despite carrying a pager that continued to work for over a month, Damond never responded to any messages, and he has not been heard from since.
Emory had maintained close contact with his family, including his mother, his pregnant girlfriend, and the mother of his son, making his sudden disappearance highly uncharacteristic. He was known to have a seven-inch scar on his abdomen, which may be a distinguishing feature.
