William Thomas Purcell III, age 38, was last seen on October 13, 2003, in Wilmington, Delaware. On that day, three witnesses reported seeing Purcell jump from the Delaware Memorial Bridge into the Delaware River. Although a search was conducted, his body was never recovered, and he is presumed to have drowned. His vehicle was found near the bridge, heightening concerns that he intended to take his own life.
