Douglas Perry Plummer, a 20-year-old man from Taylorsville, Utah, was last seen on January 17, 2001, in Salt Lake City. He was working at a sandwich shop downtown when he disappeared. At the time, Plummer was in the process of moving from one apartment to another after ending a relationship with his girlfriend. He did not drive due to blindness in his left eye, and relied on public transportation to get around.
