On September 27, 2018, 62-year-old Michael Wallace Gusta was last seen in Salt Lake City, Utah. At the time of his disappearance, he was a resident of a veterans' home in the city. Following his disappearance, very few details were made available to the public regarding the circumstances of the case, and for years, his whereabouts remained a mystery. The Salt Lake City Police Department was the investigating agency, but the case grew cold as time passed with no new leads or information.
