On a fall evening in 1993, 49-year-old Dennis Smith vanished, leaving behind a life that was split between the islands of Hawaii and the mountains of Utah. He was last seen on October 14, 1993, at a nightclub in Salt Lake City known as the Port O' Call. After that night, he was never heard from again.
