Dina Taylor, a 39-year-old resident of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, tragically lost her life on September 16, 2021. The incident occurred following an argument with her fiancé, Dionte Sims, outside their home on Cecily Court. According to reports, Sims shot Taylor during the altercation, leaving her wounded in the roadway. Following the shooting, Sims barricaded himself inside their home for several hours, during which he fired gunshots at responding police officers.
