Ronald Labonte, a 74-year-old man from Averill, Vermont, was last seen on September 26, 2013. Labonte, who was terminally ill and may have been suicidal, left his home shortly before a fire broke out at his residence on Canaan Hill Road. Investigators suspect that Labonte intentionally set the fire. His black Ford Ranger pickup truck was located two days later in the woods near his home, but Labonte was nowhere to be found.
