William Gardin Halas, a 27-year-old man from Greensboro, Vermont, was reported missing on November 11, 1977. His family, who lived out of state, filed the report after losing contact with him. At the time of his disappearance, Halas was living in Greensboro. Authorities believe that foul play may have been involved in his case, as evidence pointed to the possibility that he was murdered.
