Brown Maxwell, a 114-year-old man, went missing from Rochester, Vermont, during the catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Irene on August 28, 2011. Maxwell was last seen near Woodlawn Cemetery, an area that suffered severe damage due to the intense flooding triggered by the storm. The extreme weather conditions made it difficult for authorities to conduct a thorough search, and Maxwell has not been located since.
