Maurice Gibbs, aged 92, went missing on August 28, 2011, during the aftermath of Hurricane Irene, which caused severe flooding in the Rochester, Vermont area. He was last seen near Woodlawn Cemetery, where the devastating storm displaced many residents and significantly damaged the local landscape. Maurice’s disappearance is one of several cases associated with the chaos brought on by the hurricane. Despite extensive searches, there have been no conclusive leads regarding his whereabouts.
