Nelson Gibbs, aged 91, was last seen on August 28, 2011, in Rochester, Vermont, during the catastrophic flooding caused by Hurricane Irene. Gibbs was near Woodlawn Cemetery when he disappeared, and it is believed that he may have been swept away by the floodwaters. Despite search efforts, no trace of Gibbs has been found, and his disappearance remains unsolved.
