Edwin Clayton Peer, a 42-year-old man from Clarendon, Vermont, went missing on April 8, 1981. Known by the nickname "Manny" and his CB handle "Cold River Kid," Peer was last seen walking away from his home. Described as 6'2", 145 pounds, with dark brown hair, a mustache, and a beard, he was wearing a light blue jacket with flower patches, faded blue jeans, and brown work shoes at the time of his disappearance.
