Sean Hawley, age 25, was last seen on May 9, 2015, paddling a black inflatable kayak on Lake Champlain near Burlington, Vermont. Witnesses spotted him around 11:00 p.m. in the Oak Ledge Park area, heading toward Plattsburgh, New York. He did not inform anyone about his plans, which prompted family members to report him missing when they couldn’t reach him.
