George Nikita, 40 years old at the time, disappeared on January 21, 1971, while aboard a private jet flying out of Burlington, Vermont, heading towards Rhode Island. The plane, a Rockwell Jet Commander, lost radar contact over Lake Champlain during severe winter weather. Nikita, along with four other individuals, was aboard the flight, which never reached its destination.

Search efforts for the missing jet commenced soon after, but the wreckage was not located despite multiple searches ...Read More
