Bryan Gomez, a 48-year-old man from Cavendish, Vermont, was last seen on June 10, 2010. He was officially reported missing by a neighbor nearly a month later, on July 6, after not being seen for weeks. Initial efforts to locate him were unsuccessful, despite welfare checks initiated by his case worker, who had last heard from him in early June. Gomez was known to move around by hitchhiking, and he had no known vehicle at the time of his disappearance.
