Thomas Joseph Couch, a 33-year-old man, went missing on August 31, 2001, from Tinley Park, Illinois. At the time, Thomas was a resident at the Howe Developmental Center, a care facility where he checked in with an employee at 7:00 p.m. that evening. However, when it came time for his scheduled check-in at 7:15 p.m., Thomas failed to return, and no one has seen or heard from him since.
