In the early summer of 2015, a young man named Dylan Payne Bright vanished, leaving his loved ones in a state of prolonged uncertainty. The 21-year-old was last seen by his family in Moore Township, Pennsylvania, sometime in June of that year. It is believed by his family that he then traveled to Netcong, New Jersey. Communication with Dylan ceased after this point, a silence that was notably out of character for him and sparked immediate concern among his family. At the time of his disappearance, Dylan was described as a white male, standing between 5'6' and 5'8' tall, and weighing between 145 and 160 pounds. He had brown, dirty blonde hair, and blue eyes.
Dylan had several distinct physical features that his family hoped would aid in his identification.
He had a tattoo stretching across his collarbone that read, 'Love Can Not Save You From Your Own Fate,' the initials 'TMR' tattooed on the inside of his right wrist, and a dripping peace sign on his inner right elbow. He also had a scar across the knuckles of his right hand. His ears were gauged, and he had piercings in his bottom lip, described as 'snake bites,' and at one point had an eyebrow piercing. When he was last seen, he was wearing a black shirt, light-colored jeans with a black belt, and black sneakers. He sometimes wore eyeglasses. The Moore Township Police Department in Pennsylvania opened an investigation into his disappearance, as family and friends anxiously awaited any news.
Tragically, the search for Dylan came to a sorrowful conclusion. Dylan Bright was found deceased in Netcong, New Jersey. An obituary confirms his passing at the age of 22. He was born in Easton, Pennsylvania, and had grown up in Newton, New Jersey, where he attended Newton High School and played football. Those who knew him remembered his enjoyment of writing poetry and drawing, as well as his free-spirited nature. His passing brought a devastating end to his family's hope for a safe return, leaving behind his parents and five siblings.
